Leveling for newbies

WoW is an amazing game and it attracts many different types of people. There are hardcore gamers but also people that never really played a game until they bought their copy of WoW. If you are one of the people that has never played an MMORPG like WoW and are looking for a few useful tips then you have come to the right place. In this article I will give you several practical tips that will make your leveling experience a bit smoother and it will also help you level up faster.

Tip 1: Those first 10 levels

The first 10 levels are really easy to gain no matter which class you choose or which race you picked. Depending on the race you picked you will start in a specific area. You can follow the quest line by talking with the NPC’s with a question mark above their head. The quests are all really easy to complete, even for the biggest noobs. What you need to keep in mind however is that buying armor, food and drink is pointless during those first levels since you will level up that fast that you will receive better gear from completed quests in no-time. So, don’t throw away your money, you will need it later! Also make sure to sell everything that is in your backpack when you see a vendor. Finally, in order to keep things as easy as possible, you should head to your trainer every second level because he can then train you some new abilities.

Tip 2: Complete majority of quests in areas you come across

Questing is the fastest way to level up. The only things that can slow you down sometimes are occur when you have quests that are too hard for you which result in you dying and corps running a lot and also traveling from one region to the other can slow you down. What you should do to avoid both is completing majority of quests in certain areas before proceeding to a next village or new map. If you have to travel around the world for a single quest you might want to consider deleting the quest from your quest log since it will be too time taking to complete it and in the meantime you can complete three other quests and gain half a level. If you do not skip too many quests in an area you will gain few levels and reach a certain level before you go to the next area. Like this you gain some levels, skills and armor which will make it easier for you to be successful in the areas that you will come across as well.

Tip 3: Gold management

In general it is not advised to spent money on armor and weapons while leveling. Leveling is time taking but not necessarily hard and the quest givers do have nice goodies for you most of the time when you complete a quest so you can manage wearing just those. Wear the quest rewards instead of buying the usually pricy armors and weapons on the Auction House. Besides, in order to speed up the leveling you should buy your normal mount as soon as you can once you reach level 20, and your epic mount once you reach level 40. You’d better save up your gold so you can purchase these mounts.
